4. 4.Location - The Quality Inn Dubbo is located right on the Royal Dubbo Golf Course, in fact our car park joins theirs. We are across the road and back just 800 metres from the famous Western Plains Zoo. You can play 9 holes after you finish your business in Dubbo, have a drink with the locals at the club house, or go across the road and up 200 meters to the West Dubbo Bowling club and try your luck on the pokies or the onsite TAB.
   

5. 5.Our Restaurants - Our lead restaurant Reflections serves Modern Australian food in an elegant low-lighting atmosphere over looking the pool. The Pool Bar and Cafe serves more casual but still delicious food inside and outside. Smokers are welcome in the outside seating area of the Pool Bar and Cafe.

9. 9.Comprehensive Room Amenities - our room amenities include shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser, ample soap etc. We have all been to those places with the wall mounted dispensers YUCK!!, not at our hotel!! Our rooms also have a hair dryer and iron with ironing board to be sure you will be ready to start your day in Dubbo.
   

10. 10. Professional Service - Have you stayed in one of the many country town motels run by cranky cantankerous old people that should have retired ten years before??, I know I have!! The team and management at the Quality Inn Dubbo are professional and polite, and here to be of service to you, the guest, we are committed to making your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.

“Genuine Hospitality and Service Excellence”

From the initial reservation through to check out the staff at this motel exceeded all of our expectations. We made our initial inquiry at approximately 10.00pm and did not expect anybody to answer the phone - They Did and the reservation was handled in a courteous and professional manner. Check In was very efficient and the room was very clean and comfortable and was fully serviced each day.

The staff were always very friendly and helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. The staff at this motel always went beyond expectations. Our daughter fell over and cut herself and the manager came directly over to see if he could assist. The lady who was rostered to work the breakfast shift was so welcoming and helpful - everybody was just great!! The housekeeper presented us with a box on chocolates on checkout for keeping our room tidy. The little touches made it and the child friendly environment was very refreshing

The bar near the pool was a lovely touch, particulary the lit torches of the evening.

We will definitely be back!!!!

“Professional service and very friendly and welcoming staff”

Our stay was short but a good one. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The rooms were tidy and comfortable. It was also a good location for us on the outskirts of town as we were on a long road trip and didn't have to go driving around to find somewhere to stay, they were right there.. I would recommend this hotel and will definately stay there again if we ever come back through. (tandegreen Dec 10, 2009)

”Fantastic”

“Having read other reviews we decided to give this place a try. Arrived about 6pm and was welcomed like a long lost friend !

Room was very nice and a Huge VERY comfy bed. Price $115 for a couple included a hot breakfast ! Not just your typical toast and cornflakes. Fresh HOT coffee, fruit, full cooked breakfast, fruit juice and toast plus of course cornflakes and great service.

We re booked for our return trip and received exactly the same. We travel quite a lot South to North and this is now the only place we will be staying. What fantastic value for money. Oh and FREE wireless internet.”      RetiredMelbourne (25th July 2009)

“Most comfortable bed ever!”

“Whilst on the drive home from Sydney on the Newell Highway, we decided it was worth a visit to the zoo, and a stay overnight. Whilst looking online we found Dubbo International, and decided to book.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Recently undergoing a renovation, we found the room very spacious and comfortable. Although the smell of the cleaner was a bit nauseating at first, it was nothing a few open windows didn't resolve.

Although the pricing of the mini bar was rather steep, we were very impressed with both the room service menu and the list of wines available for delivery. The restaurant is recommended by many locals, and although we didn't partake, we certainly were impressed by the menu.

We were given an upgraded room towards the back of the complex, very close to the tennis court, yet very quiet and well removed from the highway. We were most impressed with the king sized bed, and slept soundly as a result. It was a beautiful bed, and full credit to the hotel for their renovations.

Being the closest accommodation to the Zoo (and the first you see on your arrival to Dubbo from the south) it does quite a reasonable trade with visitors throughout the year.

“Great Stay at the Mainstay”

“We had a 1 night stay in a Superior King room paying $109/night including breakfast. The beds were king size and extremely comfy. The room was very clean and would have to be the best country town hotel room I have stayed in. I requested a room down the back to keep away from the highway noise and it was very quite. It has a pool,spa and tennis court we didn't get to use as we weren't there long enough but others were making good use of it all.

We ate at the restaurant for dinner and the food was delicious.

It is the closest hotel to the Western Plains Zoo and I would thoroughly recommend it.”        Luv2Getaway (9th October 2008)

“Most friendly, relaxed stay in Dubbo - and very safe”

“We live half an hour from Dubbo and frequently stay in town. Before staying at the Quality Inn we would stay at the motel nearest to the event or place we were going to. After staying at the Quality Inn we won't stay anywhere else - and we have stayed at most of the motels in Dubbo. If we haven't had reason to stay in town we now often book in just to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
